Brief Answer:
The chances of contracting HIV are very less.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Welcome to HCM.

The risk of getting HIV from unprotected oral sex is very less as compare to vagainal or anal sex so no need to worry much. Also human saliva is not the fluid which transmits HIV and it also contains an enzyme which inhibits the growth of HIV virus.

Sore throat with swollen glands and flu like illness is due to some other viral illness not related to HIV. Consult your local physician or ENT specialist and follow the treatment regime, you will be fine soon.

You can go for HIV testing for your satisfaction at the end of one month after the exposure with RNA PCR or 4th generation HIV Duos test and the result will surely come in your favour. If still any doubt left in your mind feel free to ask me any time.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
Consult ENT specialist for further management.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

I am very happy to hear that you are feeling better now. Swollen tonsils may be due to inflammation or other reason. Consult ENT specialist to rule out the cause and for further management. Don't worry much and avoid excessive stress or tension.
