What Are The Chances Of HIV Transmission Through Unprotected Oral Sex?

Question: About 5 days ago I went to a Rub an tug korean shop where the women gives you a massage and a ending. First time ever. It was my birthday so she decided to do a blow job for a cheaper price. Im 22 years old and was up to it an let her. She went into another room to grab a condom and came back in. She placed the condom on but i realized it was not on my penis all the way. In fact probably just about a quarter of the way down my penis. She was performing oral on me for about a minute an a half before i stopped her just realizing possibilities and how skeevy this place was an dirty this girl most likely was. After the fact i really was looking at this girls mouth are an lips cause at this point my mind is going crazy at the fact of what could of happened. There was no sores or marks or anything, Her skin around her mouth and lips seemed very smooth. I went home after an washed my penis with water soap and rubbing alcohol. Im very sure and aware that didn't help or solve anything . But I'm a hypochondriac and just take everything next level because of how scared i get. I was freaking out very bad and still am 5 days later. I have no real symptoms. My mind makes me feel these sensations down there but i know its cause how nervous i get. I examine my penis all day long and only noticed this one tiny bump very slightly red colored that you can literally barely see unless i put a flashlight on it an even then its very small. Im just so scared right now and would just like to know from a medical standpoint my odds that i could of contracted something.

Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query and I can understand your concern.

In my opinion ,considering all the contact you had with her, the risk of having contracted a STD is very low.
Unprotected oral intercourse carries a very low risk of transmitting HIV.Considering the fact that you used a condom and there was no fluid exchange ,the risk is near zero.
The fact that she didn't have any visible lesion on mouth and there was no direct contact with her mouth (you had a condom ,although it was not totally placed) ,makes the risk of having contracted infections like herpes, HPV,etc very low.

Since you don't have any symptom at all and the risk of having contracted a STD from this exposure is very very low, you don't need to worry.I don't think the bump on your penis has nothing to do with this.It is just your anxiety making even normal finding suspicious.
Try to forget all this and go on with your life.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any question.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati

Thank you just hearing something like that from a doctor helps me relax. The reason I was flipping out cause I know her mouth was going beyond the point of wear the condom came down to which I'm serious she like barely put it on just about a quarter way , and the bump is below that mark of wear the condom stopped it just has me so scared, I have a Gf and I'm scared to do anything w her now over something so stupid. The intercourse seriously didn't last longer than 1 minute an 30 seconds I stopped her when I started feeling her saliva on my penis. This literally has me so sick. I have such a fear of herpes. Her mouth definitely had no sores I can see, but i know its still possible to contract even without seeing them . The internet scares the shit out of me but this is what I do to myself.

Hello again.

I apologize for the delay in answering your follow-up query.

I can understand that you are scared but considering all the incident it is very unlikely to have contacted any STD during the episode.
It is true that herpes can be transmitted even when the person has no symptoms of it ,but since there was no fluid exchange (like in vaginal intercourse) and she has no visible sores in her mouth ,the risk is very very low.

You can consider getting tested for all the panel of STD infection just to put your mind at rest because the risk is very very low.

Take care.
