What Are The Chances Of HIV Transmission Through Protected Sex?

default
Posted on Thu, 25 Jun 2015
Question: With due respect sir , i had sex with a call girl on 16-may-2015 in XXXXXXX i used condom before touching her had oral sex for 5 mins with condom then i used another condom (used 2 condoms) for vaginal penetrative sex for about 5-10 mins i didnt climax inside her rather finished with my hands without removing the condoms, i am sure that the condom didnt break as i saw some pre cum collected in its tip before ejaculation and while removing the condom i didnt grip the base ring but instead removed by holding the tip. i then washed with antiseptic my private parts and my inner thighs , then rolled back my fore skin and washed penis head with water and carried on . after 2 hours i took a bath and washed my cloths i had wore while washing i got a cut in my finger (i removed glass in the bathroom to dump something)which i later (after 2 hours)found out after bath it didnt bleed but the next day morning i saw it bleeding a very liitle. after 7 days went to doctor for pain in the right side of chest he prescribed any oinment and tablets pantoprazole & domperidone, parecetamol, aceclofenac thiocolchicoside adx 250. i took the tablets for 2 days and i got relief from muscle pain . After 3 days on 26th may i had mild fever(internal fever like) and muscle pain and loose stools like in diarrhea for about 3 days, i also had old skin coming out from my lower lips for 2 days and thought this was due to summer as i am in XXXXXXX now and after 3 days i was normal(didn't take any medications). i just googled and now i am afraid that i would have any hiv or STD infection from that women as i had some of the above symptoms as hiv symptoms. i asked the women to take a test she refused and said she had done it before 8 months and was hiv negative. i am afraid that
1. is it possible to get hiv or std even with the condom (it didnt break or slip)
2. is i possible for the infection to reach my penis as i washed my penis by rolling back my foreskin, the washing was only brief 1-2 mins i guess and i had my shirt on while the act and bottom of the shirt and inner thighs toughed her vagina so while washing after act i also washed the bottom of my shirt with water and i tucked it in my pants so can i get infection from it as i am uncircumcised.
3. is it possible to get infection from washing the cloths i wore after 2 hours and taking bath when i cleaned my penis well with detol and bathed in detol mixed water.i had a open cut will it cause hiv infection as i washed my cloths with my hand.
4.i stay in a hostel where we store water in large buckets, is it possible that i could have contaminated the water in the storage while washing and bathing thereby causing illness to my roommates
5.Do i have to do any test to find out. which test is accurate, i dont mind the cost of the test i cant concentrate on my work and i am confused about the window period of the tests too
6.window period of tests like pcr dna,p24 antigen, cmia test.
sorry for the very long description and questions above i am just in stress and washing the bathroom after i take bath and also the glasses and plates after i use them as i am afraid i would put my family and room mates under risk. and Thanks in Advance

Brief Answer:
No possibility of transmission of HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Welcome to health care magic. I have gone through the details and can make out your anxiety.

There is no possibility of transmission of HIV as it is protected intercourse. The chances is nil. Moreover she was negative earlier too.

HIV does not survive in the environment on clothes or water for more than few minutes.

There is no possibility of you infecting others as you are not infected. So please allay all your fears.

I do not see need for any HIV testing.
But if you still want to go for tests, You can go for HIV 1&2 RNA PCR at this stage to relieve your anxiety. It is very sensitive test after 10 days exposure.
You can get back for any clarification.

Sir thank you for your reply you made me sleep well,i encountered a guy in a bus travel yesterday 4th XXXXXXX i helped him get up when he slipped down he had rashes all over the body on his face , hands , feet and he was scratching it with his hands and a towel , there was blood oozing lightly from the rashes he scratched, he was extremly thin like a skeleton and was couging and was weak, . After i touched his hands i put my finger on a pimple which was open (a open wound like), then i realised he might have hiv and i had touched and placed my hand on my pimple which was open, . i am afraid now is there a chance of infection if he was HIV positive (he looked like he was on the later stages of AIDS) and as i said i will taking HIV early screening test on 18th XXXXXXX (that is 32 days from my first exposure) . this is 14th day from my second exposure(if it is). will the test on 18th XXXXXXX will work for both the incident or should i postpone my test. Please need ur advice on it. there were only few seconds (10-12 secs) time gap i touched that guys rashes with blood(i didnt see any blood stain on my hand) and my burst pimple(i scratched it with my nail too)... the test i am going to do are
HIV-2-RNA QUALITATIVE PCR, HIV-BY CMIA METHOD , HIV P24 ANTIGEN. , HIV-PCR (QUALITATIVE). Thanx in advance .
