What Are The Chances Of HIV Infection After A Sexual Encounter?
Question: i recently had an experimental sexual encounter with a sex worker in which a dildo was used in my anus. i don't recall if they used a condom over the dildo. the dildo was dry and i am almost certain probably had not been used in the hours prior to my arrival. my question is if the dido had been used on someone else the day prior or for that matter even a few hours earlier who was hiv positive and the sex worker did not properly clean the dildlo could i still get hiv in the car that the dildo had been exposed to air and was dry ? The dildo was a hard plastic and looked clean FYI. thanks

Is the transfer in that case even possible if there was say bodily fluids on the sextoy and they were shared let's say from one anus to the other with in that few minutes in a hypothetical scenario with a dildo? Or does it prettying almost only transfer from inter course ?
In other words can a dildo even transfer the virus considering there would be a swap that goes through the air to transfer.

The dildo can transfer the infection only if at all bodily fluids are involved, the scenarios are the following:
+If the first individual on whom the dildo was used was indeed infected and then the dildo was used on the second individual almost immediately or within 30 minutes, and the second individual had some wound in the anal region or within with which the bodily fluids of the first person from the dildo came in contact with
+If the first individual on whom the dildo was used was indeed infected and then the dildo was used on the second individual almost immediately or within 30 minutes, in regions other than the anus and that particular region had a wound through which the virus could have entered.
Other than this, there is no chance for transmission of infection. Even with the above 2 scenarios, chances of transmission are very very low. So, in my opinion chances of transmission itself are very slim to non-existent.
