Question: Hi Doctor,

I have piles problem, just to make sure it is piles only. I am writibg the syptoms.

1) I have some extra mass on the point from where i pass the stool.
2) Today when i passed the stool then blood was also there.
3) It is not painful and there is not much irritation.
4) i dont have any issue in passing the Stool.
5) i am applying annovate cream.
6) Few people say these can be the symptoms of Cancer.

Can you please suggest what should i do.

Hello,

So the most likely cause in such a case at your age is hemorrhoids. A clinical examination followed by a Proctoscopic examination will certain the cause. After that, treatment can be given. If proctoscopy is normal, then colonoscopy can be done to look for other causes.

Possibility of cancer is very less.
