Brief Answer:
individual medicines explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to HCM forum.

All these drugs are used in conditions associated with high cardiovascular risk to reduce future adverse cardiac events and to maintain optimal cardiac function.

Nebil (nebivolol) is an antihypertensive. Common side effects are nausea, headache, fatigue, edema etc.

GalvusMet is a combination of two drugs (vidagliptin & metformin), belongs to the class of oral hypoglycemic agents used to treat diabetes. It may cause side effects like nausea, flatulence, abdominal discomfort, headache, asthenia etc.

Norplat S(clopidogrel & aspirin) is an anti-platelet, used to reduce the blood clotting potential and thus reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. It can cause dyspepsia, headache, fatigue, dizziness, decreased blood count etc.

Omacor contains omega 3 fatty acids that helps to maintain good cholesterol profile and reduce chance of adverse cardiac events. Side effects are rare though it may cause minor nausea and abdominal discomfort.

Diuretics are used to supplement the action of antihypertensives and prevent heart failure. They can cause side effects like electrolyte disturbance, hypotension, dizziness etc.

Lanoxin(digoxin) is an inotropic agent that helps to maintain cardiac contractility thus preventing heart failure.

Aprior (nicorandil) is a vasodilator useful in long term treatment of coronary ischemia.

Note that, the side effects are described in brief.

Most of these side effects are not common/significant and not all people experience all of them. These drug combinations are very commonly used in any cases of coronary artery disease/stroke and most patients tolerates them without much difficulty.

Also, lifestyle modifications including a healthy diet(low in calories and fat , rich in green leafy veggies and fruits), regular daily exercise, and avoiding smoking and alcohol is very important for optimal results.

hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.

Regards, Dr Aslam.

Brief Answer:
Low BP.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

The normal value of BP is about 120/80 mm Hg.
Upto 140/90, we call it prehypertension and above this, it is hypertension.

Your present BP (100/60) is low, and if persisting when repeated after few hours, this may need adjustment of antihypertensive dosage. Your doctor will guide in this.
Meanwhile, drink enough fluids and avoid exertion till the BP is picked up.

Hope you got cleared.
Take care.
Thank you.
