Question: Using xiidra in both eyes but only one eye is light sensitive. I had macular pucker surgery on the sensitive eye in 2005. Is this an indication I should quit using the medication in that eye or that something more serious is happening? Can I continue use without causing damage to the eye? Thanks.

Brief Answer:
As far as xiidra ia considered it is safe

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for your question,

Xiidra helps the eye to produce tears and decreases irritation in the eye . It doesn't cause any damage to the eye on which macular pucker surgery is done as that is a retinal pathology and has no correlation with the dry eye management . You can safely use the drops in both the eyes dear . If you have any more queries i would love to answer them .

Hope my answer helps you . Get well soon
