Abdominal left sided pain seems to coorispond with left sided muscle spasms, it seemed to come on suddenly 8 months ago, but it's not a bad pain, more of a nuisance.....it comes and goes..I had a CT scan (without constrast) because I'm very worried it could be pancreatic cancer. But CT was ok. I had a colonoscopy too (because my brother died a few years ago from colon-rectal cancer), my colonoscopy was perfect.....My blood work is perfect....lipids fine. Pancreatic enzymes fine. X-ray showed nothing either, like masses or anything......But I'm just worried the CT may have missed something with my pancreas. I'm such a worry wort. I have alot of health anxiety......but it's such a vague pain. It's not terrible pain...the left side back spasms and left sided rib area, I can press on my ribs and they don't hurt, I can kind of dig my figures up under my left rib cage and it doesn't hurt. The vague pain feels deeper. When it's really bothering me laying down seems to help alot. Also I am very tall, 6'1" and do NOT have good posture.... sitting up straight seems to relieve the pain too. No indegestion....no heartburn. I do get very constipated, but ive dealt with that since I was a kid.
I'm just so scared it's pancreatic cancer the doctors just missed.

I also have epilepsy, but I have not had any Gran mall seizures for about 10 years, in total I have had 3 Gran mal seizures since I was 13. Just as background info....I also have one child, live birth, no complications.
Also 4-5 years ago I had breast augmentation surgery with no complications.
That's about all. Just like to get to bottom of the pain.

Brief Answer:
Muscle pain likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain and spams under the left rib cage that you have seems to be a muscular issue related to a wrong posture and inadequate muscle tone due to lack of regular exercise. The decrease in pain with a change in posture further confirms it. Since all the investigation reports are normal, any pancreatic cancer is not likely.
Proper muscle strengthening exercises, a hot compress and a local analgesic gel will help in bringing relief. You can also take an anti inflammatory medicine like Aleve in case the pain is intense.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
