Question: My underarm (armpit area) hurts when I cough to the point it feels that the vessle is going to pop. I have been coughing a lot to the point my stomach muscles hurt

1. Infection of the pleura- pleurisy.
2. Chest infection- pneumonia.
3. Muscle sprain due to excessive coughing- sprain of pectoralis minor can cause such a symptom.
