Question: There was oil on the floor I didn%E2%80%99t see and slipped. I jammed my toe into the couch. It%E2%80%99s slightly swollen and a lot hurts to bend but I can bend it. It%E2%80%99s not discolored or bruised. Is it sprained or broken or fractured?

It would be best to buddy strap the injured tie and the adjacent toe with pieces of micropore tape. If while walking on it, makes it very painful, then best to get it xrayed to rule out fracture.
If there is no deformity to the toe and no swelling then less likely fractured.
