Question: Thanks for checking back. Felt better after last consultation, but last week Sunday, went out early in the morning with a tight fitting belt, had it on till about 5pm, ate my first meal at 3pm, had a regurgitation shortly after, which i believed scratched my throat. Anyway by Monday, i had reflux episode, slightly dizzy, shortness of breadth, early Monday, Tuesday morning, with a little discomfort in the throat/esophagus area. Need advise also on how safe is it for me to go on a fast, and how to go about it.
Also whenever i take crestor (10mg/day), i get stomach/reflux issues, please advise

Brief Answer:
Take Domperidon with PPI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank your for query,
Have seen your details,
Good to know that you were better.
For reflux you need to take Domperidon 30 mg tablet once daily in the morning.Antacid would prevent only acid formation but reflux would be prevented by Domperidon.
Fasting is not at all recommended for you.
Fasting is going to aggravate your problems so have regular meal.
Follow ups are welcome,
Thanks you!

I await your response to the enquiry on Crestor, and also the PPI dosage and how long for both PPI and domperidone. is an H2 blocker better than a PPI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for follow up,
Creator has nothing to do with GERD.
As per dose of PPI is concerned I would suggest you to take Nexium(Esomeprazole) 40 mg two times a day and Domperidon 30 mg once in morning.
Take them for 7 days and revert back on how you feel;Doses would be adjusted as per response.
Thank you!

thanks once again, will resume Crestor once this stomach issues clear up. Final question, what multivitamins or supplement is good for someone prone to reflux, same issues I have when I take Crestor, that is , too much stomach activity, I get when I take supplements like diabetone. is there any stomach friendlier supplement out there. Thanks
