Question: Sunday night 3-31-19 , 1 week ago. i made a horrible mistake. I had very very brief and shallow unprotected oral ( me being the insertive) with a escort . Should I worry with this experience.
-I did not notice any active lesions or chancres on her mouth and lips either.
-chances of hsv2 from this experience?
-I also have not experienced any discharge or pain while peeing.

Should I feel confident I dodged a bullet.
-Any HIV concerns? She did mention she had been tested 6 weeks earlier.... true or not I don’t know

Brief Answer:
There is no risk for HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in "Ask a Doctor".
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Based on your history, having just unprotected oral sex(being insertiv), I think you shouldn't worry because there is no risk to get HIV in this situation.
Furthermore, after unprotected oral sex (without active lesion in her mouth) the risk to get HSV (usually HSV 1and rarely HSV 2) is very low.

Hope I have answered your query.
Feel free to ask me further.

Having no symptoms usually means that there is no bacterial infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in"Ask a Doctor".
I am sorry for my late response.

You should know that having no symptoms is a good indicator that there is no infection.
But sometimes HSV infection could be even without symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.

If I already have hsv1, would it come as a non primary out break? Can it just be one sore not exactly on point of contact , say pubic area and not on penis? Or would the initial be on the point of contact where it entered the body?
