Brief Answer:
Need a holter monitoring

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

At first you need to have a holter monitoring, 24 hour ECG monitoring, to find out if there is any silent episod of AF, as sometimes there are short episodes of AF, that people don't feel, it is quite common, or there may be many extrasystolies, in this cases, tappering is not recommended. If holter monitoring is normal and you have only one episode of AF then you can try to tappering off, but under the strict control of your doctor.

Wishing you good health
