Suggest Ways To Remove Polyps From Large Intestine
Question: I had a colonoscopy 3 months ago. Dr. said it was negative but there was a flat polyp that he could not remove. Recommended another specialist who could use robotic surgery to get the flat polyp out for biopsy. Does this sound reasonable and is there such a procedure. I have also lost some weight in the last few months. Age 73.

Weight loss is not caused by the polyp. It may be caused by several other than large intestine issues. The worst possibilities should be ruled out at first.
