I am XXXXXXX and have delivered to a baby girl 6 months ago. I am feeding my child and I have got my periods last month.
We have planned for a religious trip / function in the month of december. If my periods cycle follow my cycle as that of my pre-pregnancy, I might end up having periods that time.
I usually have 30 day (from day 1 of my periods) cycle. We have a function on Dec 5th and my date will be 30 from day 1. Can I have any medicine for postponing my periods by couple of days.
If so, can you please suggest me a tablet and from when I should be consuming the same

For postponing the periods, you can take Regestrone tablets twice a day from 5 days prior to the expected date and continue till the periods need to be delayed.
Once you stop the tablets, the periods will occur within 5-7 days.
