Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query very carefully.

Your cholesterol levels are low and I would recommend to stop taking lipitor. A balanced diet together with quitting Lipitor will restore cholesterol levels will be within wanted parameters after 1 month.

Only if you suffer from from heart disease (coronary blockage or ischemic heart disease) or diabetes you should continue Lipitor.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

You should wait for 2-4 weeks after quitting Lipitor to see any improvement.

Lipitor effect will be washed out from your body after 1-3 days you have stopped it.

Wish you health!

If so how long long before the muscle feeling goes back to normail
Also is it ok to take ubiquinol since I take amlodipine byslate and my blood pressure averages 112/73

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

It will needs 2-4 weeks after quitting Lipitor for weaknes and muscle pain to be gone. Ubiquinol CoQ10 and vitamin D is of help but first of all Lipitor effect should be washed out from your body.

It's okand safe to take together Ubiquinol and Amlodipine, no interaction are observed between this two drugs.

Wish you health!

i stopped Lipitor on XXXXXXX 20
July 20 will be 4 weeks off Lipitor
On what date can I strat taking CQ10
I took 1 CQ10 pill today but I can stop and wait another two weeks
When can I start CQ10.
When can I start vitamin D
my concern with CQ10 and amlodipine is that I do not want my blood pressure to go too low
My blood pressure is generally 112/73
So with CQ10 wil it go lower

FINALY SINCE LIPITOR I SOMETIMES SHAKE IN MORBING WHEN I WAKE UP. WIL THE HSAKING GO AWAY ALSO.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Yes the shaking hands should be gone away after 4 weeks of quitting Lipitor.

If it will persist other causes are to be blamed for that and you should schedule an appointment with a neurologist.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
