Brief Answer:
Calcium syrup and dietary advice

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to this forum.
Can understand your concerns.

Milk is an important source of calcium.

If child is not taking milk, then you should start a calcium syrup like shelcal 5 ml once a day for 2 months.

Diet rich in calcium should be given like
Chana
Rajma
Dal
Soyabeen
Carrot
Dry fruits
Coconut

Additionally, you can give pediasure to the child daily.

I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.

Hello Doctor,

He eats almost everything and is not fussy eater.

He eats carrots almost daily for salad. Dal also one time atleast daily. I give him almonds daily. Plus try to give him red/yellow capsicum 4-5 times a week.

Pediasure can be given with milk or with Water?

What should I do about his Knocked Knees? I have consulted many doctors but they ask me to wait.

Thanks& Regards,

Brief Answer:
Start calcium syrup

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again.

Pediasure can be given with water or milk. First, try with milk, if he doesn't take it then give in water.

Knocked knees occur due to calcium deficiency, since he is taking all diet so we must start calcium syrup for 2 months.

If bending is not more than it gets corrected on its own, otherwise you have to make him wear special shoes and cast after consultation with an Orthopaedician.

Take care.
