Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Welcome again and thanks for posting your details. I can understand the concern for grey hairs at the early age. After analyzing the complete query I can get that you have early greying of hair is known as "Premature canities".

Let you understand basic medical facts regarding greying- Our hair roots contains color forming cells known as melanocytes. These continuously secretes color into the hair shaft. During aging process after the age of 30-35 years these stops functioning in a skewed manner and accordingly the hair becomes grey slowly. If at all this process appears early then we call it as Premature canities.

The exact cause has not been identified yet but we implicate genetical factors, nutritional factors and preceding illness to be important causes. Many times stress, dietary imbalance or any log term illness is considered to be an underlying important causes. Many a times the hair color is basically genetically mediated so it depends on family pattern also in some persons.

I can get that you have both genetical tendency as well as stress as an important cause of the problem.

For the prevention part- I first of all counsel my patient that greying of hair is not a disease entity. There is no pin point treatment for it.

I counsel my patients to take vitamins in the form of biotin, calcium pantothenate and other vitamin B complexes. Multivitamin tablets contains all these essential nutrients and zinc with above mentioned vitamins, so you can take it.

Additionally increase you protein intake on daily basis and eat sprouts. Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and sprouts which contains vitamins and minerals necessary for normal hair function.

Recently, a gel is now available in the market which contains "Melitane" (commercially available as Altris gel) a new compound launched to prevent premature greying. It contains a peptide which stimulates the pigment producing cells of hair.

Additionally a Hair Serum ( Q-SERA BLACK) is also available. It contains Phytic acid, Amino acids, peptides & Acetyl Hexapeptide-1. This serum protects hair from UV rays causing structural damage i.e. internally & externally along with the prevention of graying. You should consult a dermatologist and take guidance so that long term use can be maintained.

Over all improve your diet with fruits and green leafy vegetables, stop any substance abuse and reduce your stress too!!!

You can take further guidance from a proper dermatologist regarding all the above measures.

I hope the above information will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.

"Wish you good health and early recovery from the problem"
