Brief Answer:
change your attitude; tips as detailed below

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I can understand your concerns.

The main thing you want to do is change your outlook on things like studies. Instead of thinking it is boring, try changing that into a more positive attitude.

For instance, set a goal that you want to best in a class or on a test. Know that this will benefit you in life not just in that class. No matter what don't let anything deter you from that goal. Don't over analyze it. Just do it because you are determined to get it done, and that is how you want to be.

You just need to be motivated to start doing things instead of procrastinating.

Believe in the importance of getting things done since that is much more rewarding. Then you won't be putting things off anymore.
Focus on starting, rather than finishing.

Remember that you don't 'have to' do anything. Replace ‘I have to’ with the immensely more empowering alternative ‘I choose to’ or 'I will'. Take a directed action.

Break a long project down into short tasks. Don't place too much pressure on yourself.

Try to follow these tips.

Hope this helps you.

I wish you good luck.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
self control will develop slowly.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Self control will develop slowly.

Try to distract your mind from those thoughts which disturb you.

Practice following self affirmations several times a day, especially when you need to display self control, repeat for a minute or two one of the following affirmations:

I am fully in control of myself.
I have the power to choose my emotions and thoughts.
Self-control brings me inner strength and leads me to success.
I am in control of my reactions.
I am in charge of my behavior.
I am gaining control of my emotions.
Day by day my ability to control my feelings and thoughts is increasing.

Visualize yourself acting with self-control and self-restraint. Take one of the instances where you usually act with lack of control, and visualize that you are acting calmly and with self-mastery.

Do not stay away from books. Keep studying even if you do for one hour a day.

Once you develop self-control slowly, your negativity will change to positive attitude.

Hope this helps.

All the best.
Regards.
