Question: About a year ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. At that time my A1C was 6.6 After 3 months it was down to 5.8 and after 4 months it was down to 5.6. Am I still considered to have diabetes?

Congratulations for the impimprovement of HbA1c in relatively a short time!
The last value of HbA1c is totally normal, but if you are under treatment (oral antidiabetics or insulin) is still considered Diabetes, if you have been overweight/ obese and have been only on diet and/ or physical activity, than you have no more Diabetes.

I have never been obese. After being on the diet I lost 10 lbs. and my weight has been steady since then. I get about 5 hours of exercise a week.
