Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr Rosenberg,

Thank you for submitting your question to HCM.

I'm sorry to hear about your injury. It's very good that your boot fits well, as using it will promote proper healing. Regarding shoe choice for the opposite foot, a comfortable walking shoe or sneaker with approximately the same sole thickness as the boot would be ideal. The goal is to have a supportive shoe (rubber sole) that also balances the added height from the walking boot. You may want to test out shoes you currently have to evaluate their comfort before investing in another pair. There are many options in both casual and dressy/business styles, and I recommend you try on the shoe before purchase (i.e., if you're considering online purchase). You may also consider looking into websites that allow free returns if trying on the shoe in person is not an option.

I hope this was helpful & that you'll be making a speedy recovery.

Sincerely,
Dr Galamaga
