Brief Answer:
ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave lithotripsy)

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Treatment plan depends on the location of stone if it is of this size. ESWL which is Extracorporeal Shock Wave lithotripsy might be best option for you. It can be done as an outpatient procedure. This breaks the stone into small pieces which are lost eventually.

Thanks!

Brief Answer:
ESWL is good

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

yes, you go it right. newer machines allow you to lie on your back. I here the stone fragments do not take more than few hours to rush out.

The other procedure involves passage of a endoscope (a small catheter with camera and tools at the end) through the urethra.

Thanks!
