Brief Answer:
Needs to be examined first; best to treat cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and am here to help you as much as I can.

I should rightfully start by saying that the presentation described by you (i.e. sensation of vomiting or even vomiting during stressful situations), could most likely be due to the anxiety caused during stress. In most such situations, best results are achieved by targeting the cause for the symptoms and not just the symptoms sir/ma'am. I would kindly request you to help your son to schedule an appointment with a doctor and get accurately diagnosed and accordingly treated.

But for now as request by you, your son can use anti-emetics which will help prevent nausea and vomiting. Some of the most common ones used are ondansetron (eg. zofran, emeset), prochlorperazine (eg. procomp, compro), and promethazine (eg. promethagan). These should be available over the counter ma'am. One tablet is to be taken when your son feels like vomiting, but as I said earlier sir/ma'am. It is best to treat the cause and not the symptoms. Because as long as the cause is present, the symptoms will not subside. To find the cause, he may have to be elaborately examined.

I hope you find my response both helpful and informative sir/ma'am. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
