Brief Answer:
Use a physical sunscreen

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your concern and I have understood it.

UV A part of the electromagnetic spectrum is mainly responsible for tanning. I would suggest that you apply a purely physical sunscreen*, that which contains 15% Zinc oxide, every 2-3 hours, on the exposed skin. Zinc oxide is a broad spectrum sunscreen ingredient which blocks both UV A as well as UV B.

regards

*Physical sunscreen agents are Zinc oxide, Titanium Dioxide. These agents are approved as sunscreen agents, for children and neonates. Chemical sunscreens are generally avoided in children.
