Suggest Treatment For White Patches On The Left Foot

Question: Hi,
My son is having couple of wheatish patches on his left feet from last few months. Please suggest what could be possible reason for that. if it is common problem then please suggest some ointment of home remedy for that.

Brief Answer:
Either post inflammatory hypopigmentation or previtiligo

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photograph .
It is looking like either previtiligo or post inflammatory hypopigmentation to some unnoticed injury or infection.
If I was his treating doctor I would recommend him to apply topical steroid like hydrocortisone cream in the morning and tacrolimus 0.03 percent ointment at night on these hypopigmented areas.
These need to be continued for 3-4 weeks to see any response but under the supervision of the doctor.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
