Question: I was stung 3 time today and 2 of the bites are tolerable. The one on my scalp really hurts. They were wasps I believe. I took 2 Aleves much earlier today - 10ish - then was stung about 3:30. Can I take something else for the pain? Ice isn't helping

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query.

The sting will cause a local allergic reaction with pain, itching ,swelling, redness (all signs of inflammation).
Continue to apply ice.You can take an anti-inflammation drug (Ibuprofen ,Naproxen etc)every 6 hours in the pain continues.Antihistamines like Benadryl for few days will reduce the symptoms.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any question.

Kind regards,
