Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to gastritis.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Possibly your child is suffering from gastritis due to the irritation caused by the hot sauce. The vomiting as well as the abdominal pain is a direct effect of the same. You need to do the following:
* Give him Lanzol Junior (lansoprazole) one tablet immediately and once daily before breakfast thereafter for next few days.
* Give him ORS (oral rehydration solution) to make up for the lost salts and water.
* Give him paracetamol or acetaminophen if the temperature rises above 100°F. Also give tepid sponging.
* Give some antiemetic like ondansetron when needed.

If the child looks toxic or not-well, it would be a good idea to get him examined by a doctor.

Let me know if I could help further.

Brief Answer:
Pepcid complete should suffice

Detailed Answer:
Yes, it is ok to give pepcid complete for tonight.
Make home made ORS by mixing the following:
-Six (6) level teaspoons of Sugar.
-Half (1/2) level teaspoon of Salt.
-One Litre of clean drinking or boiled water and then cooled - 5 cupfuls (each cup about 200 ml.)
and give sip by sip.
You can give warm compress but it is unlikely to help.
