HbsAg is a test to detect whether you have been infected with Hepatitis B virus. Hepatitis B Virus causes infection to the liver and starts damaging it . In some people it will destroy the liver in matter of weeks and in some it may not even for decades.
So now we need certain additional tests to know whether the Virus has started to cause damage to liver or it is just staying in your body without causing any trouble.
For that you need to get HBV DNA ( Quantitative ) test and Liver function test.
No plant or plant products or any herbal medicines have been approved for the treatment of Hepatitis B . There are good Anti Viral medicines that can cure it . But all HBSAg Positive patients need not be treated .
Get the test done and revert back with reports.
