Posted on Mon, 25 Sep 2017
Question: i have swollen nostrills from cocaine use.i have asked an ent specialist and he said i have nasal vestibulitis.
every picture i have seen of this there is a growth inside the nose.i have nothing inside my nose.do you think it could just be swollen because of the cocaine and it will go down once i stop.or is it definily nasal vestibulitis.just one more thing it does not seem to be progressing.i mean it is not getting worse
just staying the same,i have stoped using coke for one day now.

Brief Answer:
Vestibulitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare magic and thanks for putting up the query
The swelling might be an inflamed or hypertrophic turbinate or a nasal polyp. It would be better if you can send me the pictures of the swelling so that I can suggest you better.
Cocaine use leads to vestibulitis and nasal dryness.
Please tell me what medicines have u been taking so far?
It may take few days for complete recovery.
Please follow up with the required information.
Avoid further cocaine use as it may cause complications like a perforation in the septum on chronic use.
Take care
Thanks and regards
