Question: this morning I woke up with a vertigo type feeling and my hands feel a little weak. I feel a little better now but I still get a little dizzy if I look up or move my head fast. yesterday I was in the pool and did feel discomfort in my left ear for a while but that feeling has been gone since yesterday.

Brief Answer:
Probably ear related.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I am sorry about the symptoms that you are experiencing.

Your description of vertigo, spinning movement, which is exacerbated by changes in head position is compatible with an inner ear issue, an organ which is very much involved in maintaining balance. The fact that you have felt discomfort in your left ear does reinforce that.

Other causes such as brain lesions, or cervical spine issues are unlikely both because or the lack of other symptoms as well as them being uncommon at your age.

If the symptoms persist I suggest you see your family or ENT doctor, both to confirm the diagnosis as well as to identify the cause (infection, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo - bppv, Meniere etc) and address it through medication or specific manouvers (like Dix Hallpike manouver for bppv).

I hope to have been of help.
