Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Infection And Arrhythmia

default
Posted on Fri, 5 Dec 2014
Question: I have been sick with an upper respiratory infection for 4 days and coughed constantly all night. The next morning I felt a pain in my chest and then realized my arrythmia was set off. I went to my primary care physician and he decided to take an EKG, just to be safe. It was abmormal. I went to my Cardiologist that afternoon and he retook the EKG with the same results. He also did an echo and he said the pics were good. He didn't seem concerned based on my last strees tests and other results from 6 months ago. Would the ekg orecho show a heart attack, if it had happened?

Brief Answer:
Need to have a look at your ECG...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully.

1. If there was any heart attack, ECG could have shown the changes. I need to have a look at your ECG to analyze it myself. If you have any copy, you can send to me.

2. If ultrasound was ok, then, might have to do with temporary changes during infection.

Looking forward to have your ECG in for specific clarifications.
