Brief Answer:
Diet changes/simethicone/probiotics....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

1. The very first thing is to understand what is causing your actual symptoms.

2. Cramps in your upper abdomen associated with gas that are persistent might be due to:
- IBS (as per your personal history)
- malabsorption
- bowel infection (candida)
- impaired intestinal flora

3. If you have not done any tests so far, and your symptoms are persistent, I advise to run further diagnostic tests:
- abdominal and uro-genital ultrasound
- fecal analysis and culture

Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.

4. For the moment, I advise to:
- be careful with foods you are consuming: avoid those foods that would increase gas (e.g. beans, cauliflower, carbonated drinks, or even eating too fast)
- have frequent with small portions meals
- chew up slowly
- take simethicone to relieve gas
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- increase water intake
- be more physically active

Hope it was of help!
