Question: My Total Cholesterol reading is 234. Do I have to take a cholesterol lowering tablet? If so, what and how much?

Can you please upload the entire report You do ned to take lipid lowering drugs such as simvastatin. However, you cannot get them over the counter. Because you need a doctor's script for this, I will allow your doctor to place the order.

In addition, excess, low cholesterol diet and increased exercise would help lower these levels as well.
