Question: Why do the balls of my feet and my toes tingle and feel cold.
I have psoriasis on the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands, but I do not think it is related.

Brief Answer:
Neuropathy?

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

If you would have presented to me as an outpatient with this complaint,I would have told you that these symptoms are possibly suggestive of neuropathy.
Though,Psoriasis sometimes may be associated with neuropathy,it is important to look for other common causes. Please tell the following extra details of your clinical history-
1)Do you have Diabetes,Thyroid disorder or any other disease history?
2)What medicines are you taking? Please list them.

I shall be able to better answer this query once I get to know the above details.

I do not have diabetes or thyroid disorder. The last time I had blood tests was about 2 years ago.
The only medication I take is Xanax and a prescribed ointment for the psoriasis.
I take about 5 Xanax tablets (.5 mg) per week.

Brief Answer:
Nerve conduction studies.

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.

In current situation,I would say that if this tingling of feet is persistent for some time now, then you should undergo 'Nerve conduction studies' to rule out neuropathy.
Further, please get your fasting blood sugar repeated.

For now,I would suggest you to start taking antineuralgic medicines(like pregabalin or gabapentin)along with methylcobalamin supplementation.

PLEASE TAKE MEDICINES UNDER A PHYSICIAN'S GUIDANCE ONLY.

Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.
