Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Fingers
Peripheral nerve issue.
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
If symptoms are limited to the hand and fingers fortunately a threatening issue such as stroke is unlikely (if on the other hand the whole limb, or the face and lower limb are involved should go to the ER).
It seems most likely for the symptoms to be due to a peripheral nerve issue. Most common cause is carpal tunnel syndrome, due to narrowing of the passageway of the median nerve in the wrist. Causes may be multiple such as arthritis, diabetes, prolonged compression (abnormal posture during sleep) etc.
At times if due to local compression during sleep it will pass spontaneously and not much needs to be done. If persisting though, then it would need some investigations to confirm the diagnosis and exclude other causes. Such investigations mean a neurological exam to check for muscle strength, altered reflexes, sensory changes etc as well as a tests called nerve conduction studies.
I remain t your disposal for other questions.
