Brief Answer:
Need to be examined

Detailed Answer:
Hello , XXXXXXX
Thanks for using HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
Numbness and tingling have been reported as side effects of venlafaxine, but not very common, tightness sensation around neck/throat is very rare.
It can be caused by 1.Thyroid disorder 2.Torticollis 3.Muscle strain 4,Drug allergy
5.Because of other side effects of drug like reflux, nausea , vomiting with acid reflux,or mechanical injury due to vomiting. and 6. Cardiac ailment.
There are many causes, So my advice is to to see your doctor who can pin point the cause is the best option, so that an early action can be taken.
Hope this advice is useful,if you have any more query, please post in here.
Best Wishes.
