Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain
Question: i got throat pain on 30.1.2015. i saw an ENT dr.on 31.1.2015 he prescribed alerfix , rabonik 20 ,SAFRONAC P, livixim-200 dt. But now am better than yesterday. is it necessary to have all medicine.i had rabonik 20 ,SAFRONAC P, livixim-200 DT at the morning.
i got throat pain one month before and had antibiotic medicine.

Even if you are feeling better, you should complete the antibiotics course. That is tablet livixim, which is a cephalospirin group of antibiotic.
Other medications :
1) Tablet alerfix is an antihistamine. If you don't have nasal congestion, nasal discharge you need not take this.
2) Tablet Rabonik 20 is an proton pump inhibitor, used to treat gastric reflux. This is also prescribed to prevent gastric damage caused by antibiotics and analgesics. I recommend you to take this tablet till you complete your antibiotic course.
3) Safronac -P is an analgesic and antipyretic. Take this medication only when you have pain and or fever. If you are feeling better you need not take this.
