Brief Answer:
What problem is he having.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
See, Prednisolone will be out of his body in 2-3 days but the effects it has created might persist for long.
So, I need to know what problems he developed.
Gastritis if has will improve after a few injections of Pantoprazole.
If he has developed any Infection, then healing of Infection will take time.
So tell me what problems he has developed and also Mention for what purpose he was given prednisolone.
Wish him a speedy recovery.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to Infection or electrolyte imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Psycosis gets precipitated by steroids. If this was just because of Steroids this should improve in 72 hours.
But important here is that confusional states can also be due to Infection or electrolyte imbalance following Infection or medicines. In that case, as the primary condition will improve his psychosis will get better.
I hope it helps.
If you have any further query please ask me.
