Infact from last 7 days I was taking Clavam xr and there was no pain and I was able to perform day to day office but yesterday my family doctor changed it to Doxt SL after that swelling and pain in testis has increased and I am finding difficultiy in walking
Can you confirm which medicine is better for above infection and can I again start taking Clavam xr after taking Doxt SL for 1 and half day

Brief Answer:
you can start clavam

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Both clavam and doxt can be given in acute epididymitis. Both have been proved useful. But some drugs suit someone, some dont. So if you were having positive results with clavam and having problems with doxt, you can stop it and restart clavam. You can take clavam for 5 more days.

Hope this was useful.
Regards.
