Brief Answer:
Blood in urine isn't normal. It needs to be investigated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.

The symptoms you describe, are like that of an urinary infection.(UTI).
The pain in abdomen, could be due to infection in the kidneys and bladder.
These symptoms will need to be investigated in the following manner.

1. An examination by an Urologist. An examination of the penis is essential.
2. urine routine and culture,to see, if the blood in urine has cleared and for UTI.
3. blood routine,creatinine,PSA, RBS,LFT,VDRL,HbsAg and HIV.
4. An ultrasound scan-KUB,with residual urine.
5. Uroflowmetry.

With these reports,an Urologist should be able to advise curative treatment.
The cause for your symptoms were not investigated,so this may be a recurrence.
Drink about two liters of fluids daily.

You can send a copy of the reports here, for an expert opinion.
