Question: I took my bp with an at home machine. I was feeling a little odd in my chest. I have been diagnosed with pacs but this was not what i was feeling. This was more of a feeling that heart was beating hard and i kept wanting to cough. But my pulse was not skipping beats. Anyway the at home minitor showed the irregular heartrate symbol multiple times. What kind of arrythmia would it detect if i wasn't having skipped beats ar the time

Brief Answer:
My opinion is that it's most probably atrial fibrillation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and try to find out what sort of arrhythmia you are experiencing.

My opinion is that it's most probably atrial fibrillation or supraventricular tachycardia.

However to give you an exact and professional opinion I would like to see the iamge of heart monitor. Can you upload that image for me to check it by myself?

If you don't have an immage to upload than I advise to go to ER to do an ECG. This will show up the exact arrhythmia you are experiencing.

Wish you health!
