Brief Answer:
Continue with combiflam syrup, may need antibiotic if cut injury

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any associated cut injury inside the lips. In case of cut injury prophylactic antibiotic will be needed to prevent secondary bacterial infection.
I won't get overly worried if cut injury is not there as in such cases even antibiotics will not be needed and medicines to decrease pain and inflammation (like combiflam which contains paracetamol a pain killer and ibuprofen an anti Inflammatory) is sufficient.

The dose of combiflam for 10 kg child is 5 ml per dose and can be given three times a day. Assuming weight of 15 kg of your child aged 4 years the dose should be 6-7.5 ml per dose.
The swelling and pain is due to inflammation(injury to the tissue) and it usually subsides within 2-3 days.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more doubts.

Brief Answer:
You can give Amoxycillin syrup

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I agree that the swelling is same only.
Although I am not able to appreciate really about the cut injury in the attached picture based on history of bleeding there should be some injury and so I would like to give prophylactic antibiotic to prevent any secondary bacterial infection.
As this is prophylaxis only and as such there is no infection any antibiotic can be given. I prefer to give Amoxycillin. The dose is about 25-40 mg per kg per day in two divided dosage for 4-5 days.

I am sorry but here we can't give you the prescription and you have to get it prescribed by a registered pediatrician.

I hope it helps. I shall be glad to help in case you need any.
Regards
