I have been diagnosed with fibromayagia and am used to extreme muscle pain and extreme weakness and exhaustion,in a fog and everything takes methree times longer then the normal person. One Dr. thought it mightbe Lymes Disease. I have always healed quickly when getting a cut. But now Ihad a sore on my leg that has been there for over a month and my eyesight has worsened as well. Brief Answer:
It may be due to the Diabetes and its bad effects on periphery and limbs !!

Detailed Answer:
I warmly welcome you here at HCM and want to assure you are at the best health portal online.

Being your Physician today I will help you to understand your medical problems. The bruises you are talking about can be subcutaneous bleeds that cause petechiae and bruises. Actually this is related to old age when blood counts and clotting factors made by liver are all decreased and there is easy bruisability. Blood disorders also may cause such issues of minor bleeds from miniature blood vessels. They have drawn blood and will definitely rule the possibilities out.

Hemarthrosis is the bleeding and swelling inside the joint cavities. Inflammation causes the pain there in joints. Your Rheumatologist can handle this issue and if needed he may also ask for a Hematologist's consultation too for your better health.

As far as your vision/eye issues and poor peripheral wound healing is concerned they can be due to high blood glucose levels that is caused by the uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus. Excess glucose accumulates in the form of a dangerous compound named Sorbitol, and destroys the small blood vessels in eyes. Also it destroys the nerves and blood vessels in limbs and causes poor wound healing. A wound anywhere in the body can only heal under certain circumstances. It is called Homeostasis and if that isn't maintained as in high blood sugar levels, the infection and wound can not be cured properly and timely.

FINAL SUGGESTION:
You need to consult an ENDOCRINOLOGIST in-person for proper evaluation and management of the issues you have. He will also need a collaboration with a Surgeon for proper wound care on your leg. Screening for hypertension is also mandatory in such cases.
