Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Tender Lymph Nodes In Neck Under Jaw

Question: I have what I think is a swollen and sore lymph in neck under jaw, sore to touch and on occasion when jaw is moved just right about third day. No fever. Right side of neck.

Thanks for the query.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
inflammatory lymph node swelling in neck common in upper respiratory track infection (URTI).

If I were your treating doctor , I would advice
Antiseptic Mouth Wash twice daily like Betadine or chlorhexidine &
analgesic Tab Paracetamol 650 mg thrice daily after food.

You will get relief .

Is there anything other than mouthwash I can get over the counter to assist in getting this corrected? Trying to save a Dr. visit since takes over a week to get appt. and of course the cost.
