Detailed Answer:
Hello -

Without being able to see it, I can't say with 100 percent certainty, but it could be a fungal (jock itch) or yeast infection of the skin.

I recommend stopping the colloidal silver spray and getting an anti fungal/antiyeast cream from a drug store. Clotrimazole works against both yeast and fungi.

In addition, keep the area as dry and exposed to air as possible. After bathing, XXXXXXX dry with towel, then dry further with a hand held hair dryer on the lowest setting so as not to burn yourself. Wear cotton boxers rather than briefs.

If, however, it gets hotter or more swollen, go in to be seen by a doctor (don't settle for a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant) as it is also possible to have a bacterial infection of the skin and that is more serious and needs to be seen in person.

I hope this information helps.
