Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the swelling over jaw near the joint can be a cellulitis secondary to wisdom tooth infection (pericoronal abscess). Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated.You need ti get a radiograph done to confirm the diagnosis.Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics preferably a combination of amoxicillin and metronidazole combination (if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. If possible upload the images of the swelling so that I can confirm the diagnosis.
