Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The decision regarding surgery is based on your inability to perform routine activities of daily living along with MRI report. This needs clinical examination.
As far as prp injection is concern, you can have the second dose. My suggestion for you would be -
1.Ice fomentation, rest to shoulder along with ibuprofen for few days.
This may be followed by clinical examination by sports medicine/orthopedic specialist along with a fresh MRI of shoulder joint .Based on the findings we can plan further.
Hope this helps.I shall be glad to answer any further query.
Take care

Ok. Will prp injection be affective on a full thickness tear?
Im very active in sports, if i do surgery would my shoulder heal back correctlly and would i be able to go back to sports?
The mri before talking the prp injection showed more than 50% tear. How do i know its not a full tear now?
Thank u for ur help

Brief Answer:
As follows

Detailed Answer:
Hello
It’s good to see you.
I have gone through your reply carefully. The PRP therapy has a doubtful role in tendon repair. Hence, keeping in mind your age, passion for sports it is highly recommended to have arthroscopic surgery to repair the torn tendon. It has promising results and you will be to lead a normal life like playing sport.

Regarding partial to full tear of tendon, this may be judged by symptoms (Inability and pain on initiation of abduction), clinical examination and MRI.
Hope this answers your query.
Take care
