default
Posted on Tue, 5 May 2015
Question: I have been having stomach pain if I go too long without eating. I also have bloating from the chest to the belly button. I have gallstones, but went to a surgeon who said they aren't causing my problems. Over the past 6 months I have lost 19 lbs. on the low-carbohydrate lifestyle.

Brief Answer:
You should rule out stomach problems...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I read carefully your query and understood your concerns.
With regards to your symptoms they seems to be related with
gastritis/ stomach ulcer.
gallblader issues
If I were your treating doctor I would recommend to do
- upper endoscopy
- abdominal ultrasound
- blood work/ biochemical profile.
Still that I suggest to start treatment with omeprazole , antacids and avoid alcohol, spicy foods and smoking.
Wishing you all the best
