Question: I have blister in the form of a straight line on my right hip roughly
where the boxers elastic band is located. Lately the blisters are
turning black and they sting/itch me a lot. Also right under the
blisters my right groin is swollen i think the node. I checked with a psychian and turns out I have Shingles (Herpes Zoster).

Brief Answer:
Insect bite or shingles are the possibilities.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.

There are two possibilities, I could get from the pictures sent by you and also from your presentation:
!. Herpes zoster : Usually lesions would not be itchy rather burning and painful and not associated with lymph adenitis in groin as these lesions are well above the groin region. Moreover lesions might be extended more over front and back (at least few lesions) along the course of a nerve and not crossed the mid line of the body.
2. Insect bite would be more localized, present with itching and pain and likely to be associated with lymph node swelling.
So your problem would likely be due to insect bite rather than Shingles. More closer and thorough examination may need to arrive at the exact diagnosis.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
