Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. LP is a self-limiting disease & usually resolves itself in 8-12 months period. Treatment of LP varies and "Consultant Dermatologist" decides it after going through detailed examination & lab workup that includes lipid profile. First line of treatment includes topical steroids, most common include prednisone. If disease is widespread and involves scalp, nails or mucous membranes then extensive therapy is given which includes: oral steroids, isoretinoin & in some cases immunosuppressive agents.

I would suggest you to once visit hospital and get an appointment for a "Consultant Dermatologist" who will examine you and if its initial stage then would most probably prescribe topical steroid therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
